Dance Invasion Festivals in Western Canada

Our spectacular dance competition, Dance Invasion, is back for the 2025 season, and we could not be more excited!

Open to both recreational and competitive studios, this festival provides incredible value for dancers at all levels, and is a great opportunity to increase performance experience while competing for amazing scholarships and prizes.

For this dance event, dancers are placed in categories based on their age, discipline, and the number of years of training. If you’re training for more than 8 hours a week, we provide an Elevated level.

Competitions take place in 3 locations across Alberta and Saskatchewan, starting with Medicine Hat and Bearspaw in late April, finished by Regina in May. For other dates and dance events, you can find our calendar here.

Adjudications are held every 45 minutes, allowing our professional judges to positively critique the dancers, and ensuring that all performances receive constructive feedback.

Those who are in the Top 5 marks in group categories in each level will also qualify for our Xtreme Dance Challenge dance-off, which is held at the end of each dance festival and gives dancers the opportunity to win trophies and scholarships.
