Good Morning,

I hope that this message finds you well. I just wished to take a moment to say a heart felt thank you. Our small town was performing in Dance Evolution in Regina this weekend. This was our first time competing in this event. I am both a parent of two dancers and sit on the executive for our school of dance. Right from the beginning, this competition had an ebb and flow that was beyond fabulous. The venue was perfect. It was accommodating at every level. We loved being on the university grounds and having access to free and ample parking. The set up in the foyer was wonderful and the staff welcoming and warm. We were blown away by our dressing room and the quick access to the washrooms. We appreciated the schedule and the adherence to the times! We loved the access to the stage and the general overlay. The ability to hold practice in the practice rooms was also appreciated. Even though the weekend was busy, I never once felt overwhelmed — the atmosphere that was created was homey and calm which is so very much appreciated. I also loved the ability to view the dancers in the wonderful auditorium!

Your choice of adjudicators was second to none. There have only been a few times in my life when I have had the privilege to be in the presence of such positivity and never has that been in the area of dance. Sadly, both of my girls were thinking of quitting their dance lives this year. However, after both of them had their groups qualify for your dance off — and having the opportunity to listen to the feedback from both Kellie and Shannon, they are sparkling again – as is their momma. I must be honest and say I did not understand the purpose of the dance off initially and was feeling a little grumpy about the late hour and the long drive home. However, the ENERGY and BUILDING of confidence and spirits from that event still gives me goose bumps!

Hats off to you!! There are not enough words for me to say Thank You… so just know.. that our hearts are aglow … and that you and all of your work, dedication and heart are appreciated. I am so very hopeful that we will have the amazing opportunity to participate in this event again.
